Policy for reservations



The following terms and conditions apply to the travel arrangements travel agencies Maris Tours and are an integral part of the contract or voucher for the services of accommodation or other services, made between Maris Tours, Prolaz kod zdenca 1, Pula, and passengers who must be at least 18 years old.

Payment: Payment 30% of the total amount of reservation, it is necessary to execute immediately after booking confirmation to the account the agency by credit card or bank transfer, and the remaining 70% no later than 30 days prior to arrival, or 100% upon approval (if the date of arrival has less than 30 days). All prices are in Euro currency or HRK. All bank charges and other costs that come when payments are charged to passengers. Prices, dates, hotels and the availability of flights and travel are guaranteed only after the redemption payment on the account of the agency Maris Tours.
When booking, the passenger confirms that he is familiar with the General Terms of travel that had previously been carefully documented, and that they fully accept. Thus, everything stated in the General Terms and Conditions becomes legally binding for both passengers, and the agency.
Maris Tours reserves the right to correct any errors and re-bill any arrangement wrongly invoiced.
Reservations placed on hold should be confirmed within 48 hours.

Provisions for children: Children under 14 years do not travel alone and must be accompanied by adults older than 18 years in the same package.

Exclusions: The management, tickets to museums and monuments, sightseeing tours, tips, energy and phone supplements, phone calls, drinks, taxes, room service, laundry or other things of personal nature, unless otherwise specified in voucher, are not included. All personal expenses must be paid before departure in the hotel, apartment or other accommodation, and by returning the rental car.
During the check-in in a hotel passengers must have a valid identification documents with photo.

Cancellation: The package is considered to be confirmed after the payment. In case of cancellation of reservation, agency reserves the right to charge penalties. All cancellations must be sent in a written form to agency by mail or fax. Reservations can be canceled only upon receipt of written notice.
- If the booking has been canceled until 30 days before arrival will be charged 30% of the total price of the reservation, a minimum of 20€.
- For cancellation from 29-15 days before arrival will be charged 40% of the total price of the reservation.
- For cancellation from 14 to 0 days before arrival will be charged 50-70% of the total price of the reservation.
- For cancellation after departure, or if the passenger does not appear in the booked accommodation will be charged 50-100% of the total price of the reservation.
All reservation changes must be submitted in writen form to the agency by mail or fax.
If in the booked accommodation unit reaches more people than is indicated on the travel documents (voucher), the service provider has the right to deny service to undeclared passengers or to accept all travelers and to charge all unannounced passengers on the spot.
Any changes or modifications of the existing reservations are subject to change fees that depend on the destination and dates of travel. If the changes include a change in the rate, it is necessary to make a difference in the payment within 24 hours.
All changes in the return flight during the trip are subject to charge according the flight rates and availability.

Returns: Some packages are non-refundable. To a refund of the paid package has any passenger who cancells the reservation before penalled periods and conditions. Requests for refund must be submitted in written form by post on address (Maris Tours, Prolaz kod zdenca 1, 52100 Pula, Croatia) or by e-mail ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Accepting the return the client waives all rights and remedies under applicable laws, except the amount of the refund.
Prices listed in our offers and the arrangements are based on a contract basis with our partners and do not necessarily correspond to the published prices on the spot or in the house in where the traveler resides, and any difference in price can not be the subject of the complaint.

Insurance for the risk of cancellation: If the traveler thinks that he could be forced to cancel the trip, the agency recommends payment of the insurance policy of cancellation. Cancellation insurance can not be payed after the trip. Insurance premium is calculated depending of the value of travel and accommodation price. Cancellation insurance is valid only in the following cases: with the written confirmation of death, the unfortunate case with serious physical injury, sudden acute illness, when is undoubtedly needed a medical care, disorders of pregnancy, failure to vaccines which was required to be received mandatory according to the regulations of the country of travel, damage to property caused by fire, natural disasters or intentional criminal of third parties, and in case of a military drill.

Travel insurance: Travel insurance does not automaticly include following cases: insurance against risk of accidents and diseases in the travel, insurance against damage or loss of luggage as well as voluntary health insurance. In case thet a traveler requires previously listed insurance, it can be arranged directly with one of the insurers, where the agency acts only as an intermediary.

Accuracy of the data: The traveler is required to properly fill out reservation form with the correct information (such as a document of identification) and review the names on the voucher and invoice. Agency is not responsible for any damages that are result of unintentional entering the wrong data by travelers.

Agency responsibility: Agency is obligated to choose the provider and service in best interest of passengers, to take care of their rights and the implementation of services according to the traditions in tourism.
The Agency reserves the right to make changes in reservatios in case of circumstances that can not be predicted, avoided or removed. Booked accommodation can be replaced only with prior notification to the traveler and the placement of the same or higher category and at the price of accommodation by which the passenger confirmed reservation. If the substitute of accommodation is possible only in a facility with higher categorie, or at a price higher by 15% of the price of paid services, the agency reserves the right to charge the difference in price after consulting the passengers. In the case of the inability to replace the paid accommodation, the agency reserves the right to cancel the reservation to the passenger with prior notice of at least 7 days before travel and then to guarantee a full refund of the paid amount. In case of cancellation from agency, passenger has no right to claim damages from the agency and the agency is obligated to refund only the amount paid to the account of the agency.
If adequate replacement of the canceled accomodation or service is not possible on the day of arrival, the agency will try to provide information to passenger of the available accommodation supplied by other agencies, and to return to the passenger full amount that has been paid.

Obligations of passengers: The traveler is required: to have valid travel documents, to respect the customs and foreign exchange regulations of the country where the destination is located, to comply with the foreign exchange and customs regulations, as well as other laws and bylaws of the Republic of Croatia and other countries through which will pass and in which will stay (in case of continuing inability to travel due to violation of regulations by the passengers, all costs that accure will bear pasangers), if travel to countries that require mandatory vaccination against some diseases traveler is required to possess certificates and documents about vaccination, to obey house rules in accommodation units, and to cooperate with offered goods in good faith, upon arrival at the destination to provide a submitted document of payment (voucher). The traveler is required to check whether his entry into a country where the destination is located or the neighboring countries require visas. Agency is not liable for damages resulting from failure of passengers.
After reservation the passenger agrees, if causes any damage, to pay all the damages caused to the service provider.

Objections: If the services provided are not satisfactory, the passenger may request compensation by filing a written complaint. Every traveler has a right to complain for the paid services that he didn't recive.
The traveler is required, upon arrival, to immediately list inadequate service to representatives or to the host and advise the agency by e-mail or phone (0038552397299). The traveler is required to cooperate with the service provider and the agency in good faith in the direction of removing the causes of the complaint. If the traveler at the destination accepts the solution that corresponds to the service paid for, the agency is not required to accept subsequent complaint.
If after any intervention on the spot the problem is not rectified, not later than 8 days after returning from vacation, the traveler is required to send a written complaint, together with accompanying documents and photographs that prove the basis of the complaint the agency by e-mail or mail. Agency will take into consideration only properly filed complaints received within 8 days of the end of the service.
While the process solution takes a total of up to 28 days from the date of investment the complaint, the passenger is irrevocably waives mediation by any other party, arbitration from UHPA or other institutions, as well as giving information to the media. Also at this time traveler to renounce his right to claim.
The maximum compensation per complaint can not exceed amount of the cost of the service, and can not encompass the services used or the total amount of services. This excludes the right of the passengers to complain to the reservation holder. The Agency can not be held responsible for the weather conditions, cleanliness and temperature of the destination, and all other similar situations and events that may cause dissatisfaction of passengers, and do not affect directly the quality of reserved accommodation unit (the crowds, theft, damage to property, etc. ).

Personal data protection: The traveler personal information is given voluntarily. Agent agrees not to bring out personal information of passengers out of the country or give to a third party, except for the purpose of realization of the required services. Exception of providing personal data to third parties refers to the contracting of insurance from the risk of cancellation and insurance against accidents and illness, insurance risk of damage and loss of luggage and voluntary health insurance during travel and stay abroad. Personal information of passengers will be kept in the database, in accordance with the decision of the Agency on the manner of collection, processing and storage of personal data.

Jurisdiction of Court: The traveler and the agency will endeavor to any disputes arising from this Agreement to solve mutual agreement, while subject to the decision is competent court in Pula, and the relevant law will be the Croatian law.
